Mckell flew out of the DC airport on Sunday, so Troy and I took her to see the sights of the nation's capital before dropping her off. Aside from constant beads of sweat courtesy of the heat and humidity, it was fun to walk around and see some of the things we missed on our last trip.
Thanks for visiting me, Mckell! It was so nice to have you here!

Typo. Oops. What I said was... I'm glad you got to see some more of the sights in DC. Aren't they pretty cool when you're actually there in person?? We got a lot of similar pictures with the monuments, like the one of "touching" the top of the Washington Monument. The one with Kipp didn't turn out as perfect, either.
Such cute pictures!!! I know I need to update,I just get so caught up in other people's blogs that I forget about ours. :) Thanks for reminding me...
I hope all is well, you look really happy!!
so fun to have a friend visit! Brady said that you guys set him up with her, obviously quite a while ago! :) funny! And I agree, if Jared lived in Utah maybe he would could hook up with your sis... Let's see, he will only be in Wisconsin for 4 more years! ha ha We should just have them email. Have we already done that? I can't remember! But we should if we haven't... or be facebook friends... that's the ticket to true love. LEt's hook em up through cyberspace. serious :)
How fun to have Mckell come out and visit, and for you guys to support Chelsie out there at her reception. I love the picture of you two holding the Washington Monument!
I'm so glad you have a blog! I haven't seen you in forever! I hope you are having a wonderful summer!!!

Hi Amy--this is Robyn (Rushton) Green from good 'ol Mays Pond--I found your blog somehow and have been lurking for a few days--just wanted to say hi!
We lived in Baltimore for a year and had a lot of fun (we lived in Owings Mills, where there are tons of dental students, by the way--I hear your hubby is interested in dental school). Be sure to see the Spy Museum. The Baltimore Aquarium isn't as good as the one in Seattle, but the D.C. zoo is amazing and I loved the Lincoln. Memorial. Have fun! (Hope you don't mind me lurking...)
You're in our old ward, then! So funny... There are a lot of really great people...the Hartleys, the Clausers, the Briggs, and others--have fun!
