Utah Trip

My mom was in Utah all last week helping out with my new niece, Lexie, so I decided to take a break and fly out for the week as well. It was so good to be back and see my friends and family. I would have loved to stay for weeks, but I do have a husband and being apart six days was hard enough! Here are some highlights of my trip:

*A break from humidity
*Visiting Chelsie in her first home since being a married woman!
*Eating Cafe Rio
*Visiting Jan and Judson and meeting their brand new baby girl, Adelyn!

We went for a car ride, but I'm not sure if Addie was liking her confines...

*Night out with the girls

Kelly, Chels, me, Missy

Me and Melissa

*Shopping with my mom
*Having a CREAMIES every night. If only they sold them on the east half of the country.
*Taking Lexie on her first walk. It must have really relaxed her...

Beginning of the walk

End of the walk

*Lots of time with my mom and sister, Nathan, Heather, and Lexie

*And of course, flying back to see Troy :)

That's my trip in a nutshell. It's hard to believe that we'll be back there in only five and half weeks!

I think Lexie and Addie should get together for a playdate. Granted they wouldn't be able to play together on a teeter-totter quite yet (I really thought my baby was fairly small until I compared her to Lexie!). But they do have matching car seats and how cute would that be. Let us know when you get to babysit and we'll bring Addie to go on a walk.

Finally I hear SOMETHING about your trip! I bet Troy was the only thing that made it easy for you to come back here, eh? Cute baby pictures... they're both so little! I'm so jealous you ate Cafe Rio. It's hard to believe we're going to be home soon!

I figured I'll respond to your question about the photo collages, we use a program that comes pre-installed on Macs called Comic Life, so it should be on your iMac. Its linked to your iPhoto Library so all you have to do is drag and drop the pictures you want to use.

After that we take a screenshot by holding "down apple, shift, 4". which saves a copy of the area you select as a pict file on your desktop.

It might sound harder than it is, but it really is pretty easy.

What fun! Now Ben isn't the only father in the family...more grandkids! She's cute too!
