With Troy working six days a week from about 1:30-9:30 (Saturdays usually from 9:30-9:30!), one of the hardest parts of our summers is finding the time to go out and do things together. The most time we get to spend with each other is in the morning, but it seems like by the time we get our lazy bums out of bed and eat breakfast, Troy already has to think about getting ready for his work meeting at noon. Lately, though, I've been waking us up around 9:30 so that we can have more time to hang out and because I really want to start taking advantage of some of the things there are to do and see in this part of the country.
Today, we drove to Baltimore's Inner Harbor to have breakfast at a restaurant called Watertable. It is on the fifth floor of The Renaissance Hotel and has a great view of the water. Afterwards, we went across the street to the harbor and walked around. Our lack of pictures is due to the fact that we felt bad stopping other tourists (you know, people with fanny packs... and there were a lot...not us, though) to take our picture, but here are a few.
Hopefully we can keep up our new ambition to do more things in the morning because it was so fun to actually do something together during daylight. Troy is quite the sleepy head, though, so we'll see how it goes!

What's so wrong with a fanny pack? haha. JK! That looks like such a cool place.
Whoa, I didn't know that place was so cool! Sounds fun. It really is hard to find good hang out hubby time, huh! Like take now for instance... I'm wide awake and Kipp is zonked out on the couch.
Amy, you are too cute! I didn't know you are out in Baltimore; that is so fun. I had an internship in Baltimore all last summer and so I got off at the Baltimore Metro stop every day. You'll have to post more on the things you do and explore. How fun!
I could not agree with you more- about trying to get up and get going in the mornings! ha ha We try to do things in the mornings too, but... It is hard to get up! We stay up late- til like 1 ish at least- since we don't even eat dinner til 9 or 10! Our schedules are all so messed up huh! Ahhhh- the life of a summer sales wife! We were actually ambitious this morning and got up to go to the temple. We were heading out the door just before 9, when Brade looked the temple up online and it said that they don't rent clothes- and we didn't bring ours! Sad! So guess what we did? Oh, got back in bed! Brade is asleep again, and I am blogging. funny.
Looks like so much fun. I can sympathize with the whole early morning thing. Judson is always up bright and early, me not so much...but hey I'm pregnant right? Got to use the excuse for something.
Miss you guys a lot but we're glad you're having a fun summer.
Amy your blog is so cute!! You and Troy look so good together too. I'm so glad we found eachother again. :) I can't believe you have been married for 2 years already.. Congrats!!!
You are so awesome Amy!!
This place looks like so much fun!! It's such a bummer that our husbands are gone so much, I'm pretty much having husband withdraws. Anyways, your blog is so cute!! I'm so excited for Wednesday, it doesn't seem to get here fast enough... I'll definitely be taking your advice, lots of tissues.
That's awesome that you guys are taking the time to do dates & spend time together! did you like eating there? Ry and I will have to try it out!! :) Maybe one morning we can get some couples & eat breakfast and do paddle boats down there!
A-M-Y
I miss my husband. He has been gone 5 1/2 hours now... only 6 more to go! ha ha Why do we love summer sales so much? :)

Trying, but not succeeding ha ha oh well... it's all good, I am studying for my nursing boards and working out and cooking wonderful delicious meals... that we eat at 10 pm ! ha ha
