Most of you know that Troy and I moved into our new place in November. Since then, we've only had neighbors on one side of us and even with 2 toddlers, they haven't made much of a peep. It was great having no one on the other side of us until yesterday when some people moved in. Since we haven't had noise problems with our other neighbors, I didn't think anything of it. Plus, townhomes generally have a foot and a half wide gap between them and are double sheetrocked for insulation and noise protection.
Late last night before bed, I heard something. We have lived in apartments next to people who play loud music, people with barking dogs, and even newlyweds, but this particular sound might be the worst of all. I have superhuman hearing when it comes to any noise that shouldn't be happening while I am trying to sleep, so when I first heard it and Troy didn't, I made him put his ear against the wall to investigate. As it grew louder, he confirmed my worst fear. We couldn't believe it, but...

Wow, that's one loud snore to get through the wall! Maybe it was just because he (or she... hopefully it was a he, though) was sooo tired from moving and was in such a deep sleep. I hope that's why, because that would get pretty annoying if it continues every night!!

that is hilarious! We hated living on top of someone with a piano. Love that picture!
That's horrible! I can't believe you are being awoken by your snoring neighbors! We used to live in tight quarters and we could hear the neighbor relieve himself every morning right when he woke up. I hate that sound!
