Sit Back and Relax

Hey all, remember me?  I haven't posted in forever.  I've been a little bored with this blog, but I've had some demands requests for an update, so I'm going to try and be better!  A lot has happened in the last couple of months, so let's start at the very beginning.  A very good place to start.  Sit back and relax because this might be a long one.

Before Easter, we got together with my family and had an Easter egg hunt with all the cousins. 

Soon after, Troy left to start work in Oklahoma while Jovie and I stayed back in UT for a couple of weeks. 

Jovie successfully put on one of my high heels for the first time.  It was the cutest thing ever.

We visited the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point with my family.  It was sunny, but COLD.

We went to Jump On It with friends and played around.  

After two long weeks, Jovie and I flew to Oklahoma.  My parents graciously offered to drive my car there, with all the rest of what Troy couldn't take in his car, which was such a huge blessing!  My dad flew back a couple of days later, but my mom stayed for the whole week.  Troy was still working/living three hours away for another week, so it was so nice to have my mom there until he got back. Jovie loved it and so did Grandma!

 
It took a little while for Jovie to adjust to a new place.  She was really fussy and whiny for a while, but we are really enjoying ourselves here.  We've made some great friends and get to spend a lot of time at the pool.  It is SO hot and SO humid here, so we will be there a lot. 

Jovie will be 18-months-old this month and is growing up like crazy!  She talks so much and knows so many words.  It's really fun to be able to communicate with her and know what she is talking about... most of the time!
