Halloween is so much more fun now that we have a little one to dress up, even if she is too young for knocking doors and collecting candy. The week was full of festivities. As I was getting Jovie into her costume for our ward's Halloween carnival on Tuesday, she spit up all over it. There was no fixing it in time and I was about to just take her in her pajamas, but I rummaged through the back of her closet and found the perfect replacement. She made an adorable ballerina!
On Friday we got together with our friends, Jan and Judson, and their two girls. We finally got our kids to bed and were able to enjoy a little pumpkin carving and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Mine and Troy's Jack-O-Lanterns turned out lame, but we had fun.
My pumpkin was conveniently cut off in the picture. I assure you, you aren't missing anything.
Lexie and Jovie are a year and a half apart and it was really fun to watch them interact. Lex kept wanting to hold Jovie and touch her. It was very dear. Sharing toys was a different story, kids are so funny to watch!
Jovie was not too fond of her costume inside, but she was nice and toasty outside. It was rainy, windy, and cold. Very reminiscent of childhood Halloweens in Washington.
Family pictures don't quite work with a 10-month-old.
And finally, on Halloween day, we just had to get Jovie back in her costume for a photo shoot. She was much happier this time around. We think she makes a pretty darn cute little lamb!
Love her hair coming out the back. It's getting so long!
We hope everyone had a fabulously festive Halloween! I can't believe it's already November!
