When Jovie woke up a little earlier than normal the other morning, I'll admit I went and snuck her a binkie to buy an extra hour of sleep. Troy had been out of town and texted me a while later to see if we were up. We weren't, so I went in to check on the bug. I was quite confused when all I could initially see was the top of her head popping up in the corner of her crib. I felt like a horrible mom when I first saw her like this, but then I had to smile. And grab my camera.
I wish I could have seen the process. Sitting herself up, playing around, and finally submitting to sleep after realizing no one was coming to get her just yet. I promise I'm a good mom. Really!

That is darling, but you just wait. She will do even funnier and more darling things. I found Afton asleep while in the middle of putting on a pair of Stone's pants. Not darling like Jovie, but pretty funny.
Oh, Amy! That is so cute! Don't beat yourself up. She will be a more content toddler if she can learn to entertain herself! Just love her and remember it is ok to take care of yourself once in awhile!
