We have been having so much fun with Jovie. She has this cute little personality that develops more and more each day and she is getting to be such a big girl, too! Here are some of the things she has been up to lately.
Being cute. But I'm a little biased. Really, what parent isn't?
Sitting up. We've been helping her practice sitting up. She doesn't like it so much yet, but leaning forward on her hands is some definite progress!
Sticking out her tongue. She has started doing this all the time when she smiles, especially when Troy whistles. It's pretty funny.
Swimming. We took her to the pool for the first time. Her little swimsuit kills me, I just want to squeeze her in it! I got her a floatie that she can hang out in that shades her from the sun. We call it her princess boat (it's actually a car that says "Princess" on the front. It's a floatie. It should be a boat). Anyway, she just kicked right back and relaxed. It was early and the pool was too cold, but the hot tub hadn't been heated up yet so it was bathwater perfect for her.
Eating. We started feeding her solids. She's not the biggest fan yet and the majority of it goes everywhere except for in her mouth, but it's cute to see her reaction to it.
Getting older. Jovie turned 6 months on the 23rd. My baby is half a year old. Wow. Naturally, I had to have a photo shoot and take pictures of her 6 month old self, including feet and fingers.
Sometimes I want her to stay this age forever, but it really is incredible how much they learn and grown on a daily basis. Happy 6 months, little bug! We love you!

Oh she is so CUTE!! What a doll. She and Addie have the same swimsuit--I love it. I can't believe she's so old. Where are you guys now and when do you come back to Utah?
The purple head band picture is so stinkin' cute, I can't get over it! Please let her date Paxton when they get older :)
Keep at the solids. It's a mess for the first week but usually they figure out how to use their tongue to keep the food it. Can you believe how quick the first six months go? Buckle up, the next six go even faster!

Jovie is absolutley adorable!! I can't believe that she is already six months old! I am so gald you post picutres so we can see all the fun things she is learning and doing! Miss you guys and hope your are getting settled in CA!
You have a right to be biased because she really is stinkin' cute. And I would tell you if she looked like an alien or something. Well, probably not, but I wouldn't bring up anything about aliens like I just did.
Hi Amy - I'm glad you like the Bachelorette posts. I'd have to agree that it's been a little boring lately... we need some crazy singing or a lot of crying to sprice it up!
