Been a While

It has been brought to my attention that my blog is boring and in need of a serious update! I agree that once every month and a half is pretty pathetic, but just give me a couple more weeks. We have some fun things coming up.

Troy just finished up another semester and started finals today. We are so excited for him to be done because on Thursday, we leave for a much needed vacation! We can't wait to spend a week relaxing in Cancun on beaches like this.



The day after we get back, we are taking off with our friends for the weekend to go camping. We recently got some camping gear because, as crazy as it sounds, this is our first official camping trip together. I had fun testing out my new sleeping bag.



In other random news, my friend Kate has inspired me to grow some vegetables this summer. I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm really excited about it. Troy and I planted the seeds last Friday and are amazed at how much they have sprouted since then. We are keeping them in Troy's study room until they are ready to transplant and he swears he can see them grow while he's studying. He's rather excited about this gardening stuff too!



We are doing cilantro, snap peas, an assortment of peppers, green onions, and three varieties of tomatoes. If nothing else turns out this summer except the tomatoes, I am fine with that, but my tomatoes MUST grow. Have you ever had garden fresh? Delicious.
